After customer demand expanded the tiny shop to 28,000 sq. ft., the NY Times' beloved Craig Claiborne labeled A Southern Season "wall to wall and floor to ceiling, a visual and gustatory delight." Today, A Southern Season's location is just around the corner from its original spot and it houses a 60,000 sq. ft. landmark market -- quite possibly the largest in the country.
